Mr. Curtis was loved and liked by many in our community. That was obvious tonight in his visitation. He always took the time to make sure things were going good for us, having two sons in WP, Kevin (Class of '92) and Chris (Class of '98) I got to know him very well. He was always very compassionate to others and had a love for anyone that knew him. My heart goes out for his family tonight as they start the process of losing him. May God bless you all and keep you in His arms and comfort you in this time of loss.

Thoughts and prayers to the family & friends of Charles Curtis during this time of sorrow. A compassionate heart is something special that God blesses certain people with, and Mr. Curtis was one of those people. That compassion, along with his pride for WPHS and for the students, made it a great place to be. I'm not sure how many people can say their high school principal was also a friend, but I'm proud to say that about Mr. Curtis.

I was saddened to hear the news about Mr. Curtis and my thoughts and prayers are with the family. He was genuinely one of a kind and I feel lucky to have been one of his students. With him running the ship you knew you had to have your hair above the collar, shirt tucked in and wearing a belt! What a difference from today's school environment.

As we look back on the road traveled there are people we encounter throughout our journey that stand out among others. That had a positive influence and made a difference in our lives. A difference that will be remembered forever. Mr. Curtis was that person to me. My sincere condolences to the family.

Dearest Ben, Rachel and Mollie and the entire Curtis family:
The news of Snookie's death saddened my heart and my day! While in high school in Wills Point, he bacame an amazing and longtime friend! He is one of my awesome friends and memories of Wills Point. He had such an infectious smile and laugh just like his Mother, Lucille. I truly regret losing touch with Snookie but we do grow apart after high school, and I never forgot him. The WPHS Class of '67 had some great leadership in Charles and I was so proud to graduate with him.
You are all in my prayers during this difficult time. Prayers for strength, understanding, love, compassion and PEACE.
Please know that you are loved and there are many, many people praying for you also!
God bless and much love to each of you!

Mr. Curtis was the first instructor I ever had that made sure you would get an A in his biology class. With his quick wit and humor along with his strict nothing less than an "A" attitude. I will never forget him or his rendition of Family Feud before test day in Biology!!! He was one of a kind!!!
